When did the buzz start?

When did the buzz first start about Felicty's movie and the Elizabeth doll?

I'm already anxiously looking ahead to the next movie and friend doll.

I'm not too interested in the Felicity/Elzabeth stuff besides just admiring the pictures, so I'm ready to move on (! sad, since the new stuff hasn't even come out yet).

Also when did buzz start on Marisol? I think I remember hearing that there would be a LE one year and then a Friend the next, but that doesn't really work out now, huh? With Marisol as the LE 2005 and Elizabeth coming out in 2005 as well...unless Elzabeth is supposed to last us through next year! Ah....how horrible that would be!

I'm looking forward to new stuff for Kit and Molly. I would love to see new things for any historical. And I would pass out from joy and excitment if a short brown hair AGOT was released.

I'm not 100% sure but I know that survey members of the AG Survey company saw the official picture of Elizabeth around April. I was a member of that survey company but I'm not in it anymore.

I'm fairly certain that I first heard rumors of an Elizabeth doll pretty soon after I joined, which was last September. At that point it was just a name on the copyright website, and we weren't sure it was "the" Elizabeth. We heard about the Felicity movie conclusively after the Samantha movie was a big hit - probably sometime last winter? As far as I could tell, the survey in April didn't state conclusively that the doll would be Elizabeth (in fact, I recall people getting in arguments over how the blonde doll couldn't possibly be Elizabeth because she's brunette [img]wink.gif[/img] ) Try searching the old posts - there might be some left.

Yeah I remember that in April I was postive Elizabeth would be a blonde but no one believed me. Your right the Survey didn't say it would be Elizabeth but the second I saw her I knew it was her.
